Prepare for some serious butthole surfing:

With apologies to Dick Such, and "Ugly" Johnny Dickshot (who actually changed his name TO "Dickshot"), I take 1889 P Cannonball Titcomb $450,533 to fill a $200K to $500K P slot.

I am flabbergasted that nobody has taken Randy Johnson - "The Big Unit". Maybe that name is too obvious for our sophisticated and highbrow hilarity.

I don't think there is another $200-500K slot. The other one is $200-250K.

Thanks, reddtrain, you are correct. I show the $1M to $1.5M spot is still open. I am taking Randy "The Big Unit" Johnson 2007 DBacks $1,365,599.

I'm going with the best one-nutted hitter the planet has ever seen. 1B John Kruk - 1992 Phillies - $4,797,293

I am making an open plea to let me pick the 8-9 mil pitcher. I have a perfect choice but if not, I'm sure I can find some schmegma  to scrape off onto our rosters.
I knew I should've drafted the 8-9M pitcher.  Gotta love having a 435-IP mopup guy.

(Just kidding... this should make the X-factor choice very interesting).

C'mon Schwarze. Remember the old cliche - "you have to be a pretty good pitcher to go out there and lose 37 games."

Page 1 updated

Thru 14 picks we've spent $50,542,183 out of a possible $56M(corrected)

I wanted to challenge everyone in their personal selections with the worst 8 mil + SP I could find. As I said, at least IP won't be a problem. Now we just need to get him in Coors for some real fun.

Yes, we're all in the same boat..

This has me wondering, have their been other identical roster leagues? What if we were to create a league with every team using, say, the '37 Browns? Or 6 similar teams, all 4 owners in a division, using the same team? The X-factor would be used...

I'm also wanting to bring back the Auction League, which I co-created with Vegas(jose can u c)...you bid on blocks of 3 players, purchased 15 players through the auction, then filled in your remaining players with any player not in the auction. Took some time to build the league, but was a lot of fun...and I'm sure Tagteam will be coming back relatively soon. One of the most competitive leagues we ever had here...you pick a partner, then we have a 25 round draft, both owners field the same roster. Top 4 teams send both owners to the postseason, where they are seeded by their personal win-loss in opposite leagues...

Some of the all-time greats here got their heads handed to them, some more than once. Some got creamed and never returned...
