The Nets?!!!  Really?!!!  That's hard to believe!

I've never played in a league like this before, so you'all can take this with a grain of salt, but I would've thought that the Lakers, Celtics or Sixers would be big favorites to win a league like this.

You can make a really solid team, especially defensively, with the Nets.  Kidd, Blaylock, KG, Mutombo, Dr. J., Buck Williams, ZO, the list goes on. That's the beauty of this league. Most teams have a ton of solid players to choose from, It's all on the owner to put the right mix together.

Also, jt7king hasn't opened his site mail to know that he is turn it up. We have also had this issue with him in one of the football leagues, where his is the only team not entered, and we've been waiting for quite some time. Just FYI, Slymonium, not sure what you would like to do here in regards to this.

Putting my team together was interesting.  For instance, I didn't know that Rashard Lewis played for the Wizards until I put my team together.  I didn't know that Alonzo Mourning and Mutumbo played for the Nets.

So you're right rj, it's all about finding the right mix of players. 

For example, the guy who drafted the Celtics could conceivably put together a team with Shaq as his franchise centerpiece.

What franchises won championships in previous editions of this league?  I saw earlier that the guy who took the Bulls wanted to redeem himself.  I would've thought that the Bulls (MJ, Pippen, Gilmore) would be a real force.

Hmm I'm trying to remember. This is my fourth time doing this theme. It was Nets this past one, and the Bucks won the season before that. Going back further, I can't quite remember, but I believe it was the Rockets, but I could be wrong.
