Must be.  It's like putting on your hat to go out and find your pants :)

Got you fooled maglor1. I'm using the 80-81 version of Robert Parish to back up Walton for 28 mpg. Then Walton backs up Clifford Ray for 8 or 9 mpg. That gives my squad an average defensive rating of 92 at the center position all game long. Plus, Parish's 54.5 EFG% at more than 27 usage makes him a lot more than just a super sub. The assist% for the starters is 82% which should help bump up the teams total FG%. I guarantee that Grant Hill will be the best player in the league this season that wasn't drafted last season.

You probably have. I will modify the eval with this information. Sorry that I am taking a long time. So busy these days.

I'm not using the 3000 min unseld... using the 56%fg one with 5 dimes paired with the 4.1m bogut (28%dreb 10%oreb). anyway, evals are fun but rarely insightful.

Yeah maglor, you're right in that having Webber and Mourning in the front court hurts what could've been a dominate strength in rebounding. And without Rodman at SF I wouldn't have considered them as a front court pair, Webber is probably better at SF anyway. But I just felt like he was one of the best overall players on the board that can do multiple things which is what I was looking for. And adding Ming to them is pretty cool, I'd pay to watch the team in real life. I'm probably not using all of Yao's minutes as a back-up to Mourning. I'm not expecting a championship but we could make it to the playoffs.
I was more worried about our free throws than our fouls, the main reason I went with Miller in the 5th. Was praying for Harden but oh well, I was happy to get Harper after missing out on the first round of PGs I targeted.

After my first try with a high scoring low defense team that got bounced in the first round, defense was a much bigger priority this time. I just checked and the guys I got 15 (Barkley), 34 (Kidd), and 61 (Mutombo) went 11, 23, and 30 this time. I think I messed up not focusing on defense in the later rounds or I would've had a nice chance at winning it.

I am very curious and have wondered for a number of drafts now, how Harry Gallatin will fare here.  His 13.3/29 O/D reb numbers are awesome and his 55 D is borderline acceptable.  I chose his $8 mil season, which is only 40.4% FG % and an eFG of 42.5, BUT is a FG+ of 108, which isn't bad when you consider eras.

He will start sometimes at PF and sometimes be the 6th man with Gus Johnson starting, depending on matchups.  I think with Muresan, Johnson and Gallatin, I should be in good shape on the boards.

Not a big fan of Gallatin in this league. At 18.5 usage his very low EFG% is difficult to overcome. I recall that Gus Johnson has about 46% EFG at about 20 usage. Between the two brick layers here it will be difficult to win a lot of games.

Gallatin is absolutely fantastic in the less than 44.9 EFG% league lol. I won a title with him in that league.

yea if im desperate for boards there are a few really good pf/c left out there with mediocre defense like gallatin, but with way better efg%...i dont think harry the horse belongs in this league
4/14/2015 8:04 PM
johnson maybe...because of the 90 d to go with the boards...but his low efg% with 20% usg make him tough to use
