I see crappy PER players on SIMS drain a high % of 3s ALL the TIME.   So much that I've stopped sending tickets because I am always told it was flukey.......but it happens ALL the time.

That's not surprising... The sample sizes of 3-point shots in one game is tiny, so the variance is massive.  You don't notice when they shoot 0 for 6 or 1 for 7, but that's also probably anomalous.  You do notice the similarly anomalous 4 for 6 or 5 for 7 because it hurts you.  At the end of the season, 3 pt %s for sim players don't generally look unusually high.

My Limestone team had the #1 RPI and #1 SOS after 12 games.....I then lost to a SIM..

Going into the NT I am 22-6, #11 in the country, 8 RPI, 5 SOS.......my six losses?.....they have RPI's of 2,4,6 and then 3 SIMS......worst coach of the year....

Coach of the year baby!

I think we all have our examples of huge upsets by SIMs, but I can't recall a single time I have ever upset an opponent to which I was a 25+ point underdog. I haven't thought about this enough to put forth a theory as to why this happens, but it seems as though I get upset by a major underdog about once a season, yet I don't ever remember beating anyone as a major underdog- especially late in the season (when losing to those major underdogs seems to hurt a lot worse).
