Yes, as for TJ's ballpark, I searched for SLB's list of parks and as it happened, found a forum thread, "Trickiest Ballparks to Win With." Naturally, I clicked in and what to my wondering eyes should appear, but these comments, just so, by our teacher so dear.
I struggle in Dodger stadium. I always think I have team for it but fall flat constantly. I finally just gave up us in it.

I suck in Fenway as well. I think I had a team hit like 400 doubles there an have a losing records.
The man instructs his wanton pates in the language, English. Hm.

Well now, in which of these stadia should the Kid apply his 1894 balls, and TrentonJoe his pneumantic pursuits? Let me see...

I should say, Fenway.

Ok. I think I got this.

Trentonjoe gets 1894 KId Nichols and his 500 IP's at .276 OAV#
jfranco gets the Baker Bowl
scwarze can have the 1980's San Diego Padres

And he can have them without Tony Gwynn. I'll be taking him.
Pretty clever rickysdad44.  Selecting Tony Gwynn, then giving me the 80's Padres.

Screw it...going with a bat I know works - 1B Lou Gehrig.

Assignments for others coming soon.

Hi TJ...I know you already have 500 IP with Kid Nichols, you need more deadballers with tons of IP for your 2 man rotation idea...so you will have the fun of getting as many IP as you need from the 1891-1899 Washington Statesmen/Senators...I just hope that AW sees this and picks a ballpark that will help their monster OAVs and maybe someone will select your best hitter from that team as an exclusive. Maybe.

Hi rickysdad - 2001 Tony Gwynn is a solid pinch hitter but only has 1 HR...I'd like to see him hit more pinch hit walkoffs, so you will have the honor of playing in Wrigley Field - Los Angeles, CA

Hi AW...Ed Reulbach is a solid arm with a fantastic history. But it seems he had a penchant for giving up some hits (.254 OAV#) and the long ball (62 HR/9+) in in 183 IP in 1912. But I'm really interested to see how you are going to use him with his 4.33 IP/game and get him over 183 IP on the season. You could use him as a starter and start him 43 times or maybe as a Long A and get him 90+ appearances...or maybe both. His $3,818,277 means he'll hit your cap a bit too. Have fun managing him!

Franco!

Please don't walk the plank when you see this.

Tampa Bay Devil Rays of the initial, infantile decade of the Third Millennium of our Lord.

I am sorry for your loss. And your pitchers' losses.

You are welcome. Please let me know if you'd like to edit my writing (which I need to do more) to return the favor. It could make for "interesting times" as our Chinese creditors say.

And thank you, frazz. Since I tend to be an insufferable micro-manager, I will take your challenge with more gusto than Schlitz!  What if I make him my vulture and get him a 30 win season!   ;-`

frazz, I assume you mean 1891-99 Washington for TJ's franchise.  Let me know if that's not correct.

Well, we know who the thinkers in SLB are....

...not necessarily the smart thinkers, of course.

Okay, we know who's been wasting time this weekend.

I'm in. I was team #2 last time, so I wanted to wait a bit longer before jumping in this time around.

I'll take Reb Russell.
Since there's not a good (for me) option on Gehrig, frazzman80 can have the highest-PA version of him (1931).
ArlenWilliam and his 1912 Reulbach can play in Sicks Stadium.
rickysdad44 and his 2001 Tony Gwynn can have the fun of pitching in the high-octane Wrigley with the 1960-69 KC/Oakland Athletics.

reddtrain, Reb Russell is not eligible as an exclusive.  The player must have 10 WIS-eligible seasons.

Oops...missed that particular portion of the rules. (I was actually trying to find someone with only one or two seasons.) Let me do a bit more research then.

Alternate choice: Christy Mathewson

Ok -- I'm going to give this a try as well.  I'll go with Jackie Robinson
