Are you CRAZY! Dubose did nothing wrong. He cooperated fully. All Dubose wanted to do was to go to the furniture store and buy some coffee tables. Then Tensing shot him. In theory, Tensing was saving the kids life. Tensing is a hero.
Well, as long as that coffee table stayed out of moy's hands, children would have been saved.

Why would somebody choose to flee from a police officer during a routine traffic stop?
Because they don't want to go to jail.
whats another way a person can avoid jail? how about not committing a crime.
Sure.
So there you go, Dubose put himself in this situation. if Dubose had been a law abiding citizen.... as in he hadn't had a history of traffic violations, had a front license plate, had his Drivers License, didn't have an open bottle of gin in the car I'd say its highly unlikely he would feel the need to flee. If he doesn't flee he'd have got a warning and would've been on his merry way to take care of his 10 kids. There were a lot of choices on Dubose part that put him in the situation where he got shot. The cop made bad choices too.
There's a difference between, "he made choices that put him in that position," and, "he deserves a share of the blame for what happened."
If "he made choices that put him in that (bad) position" THEN "he deserves a share of the blame for what happened". TWO people can be wrong. Dubose was wrong for resisting arrest and fleeing, whereas Tensing was wrong for shooting him BECAUSE he was resisting arrest and fleeing.
Nope.

Dubose was wrong for fleeing. Had he been arrested he would deserve the blame for the fact that he was in jail. But Tensing's actions were so out of line that there's no way someone could reasonably foresee the outcome.
well, had dubose happened to be on facebook, twitter, watch tv or read a paper this last year he'd have seen the outcomes of brown, garner, scott, and many others - how is it NOT reasonable that a fleeing man will NOT get shot?
Would you expect to be shot for running away?

I guess you trust cops less than me. I wouldn't expect that running would get me shot, especially since shooting a fleeing suspect is a crime and cops aren't supposed to commit crimes.

Kidnappers are criminals. Assuming they do bad things is obvious. Cops aren't supposed to be criminals. Assuming they'll murder you for running away is odd.

Your missing my point.

Dubose was murdered. Tensing, and Tensing alone, is responsible for the murder. There wasn't a struggle. Tensing wasn't being threatened. He murdered Dubose to stop Dubose from getting away, which is unacceptable.

So in a country where getting shot by murderous pig cops during routine traffic stops for not cooperating is common, that's an acceptable risk?
BL?
BL???

Dubose was responsible for escalating the situation.  Escalating the situation caused the officer to shoot.   No matter how stupid BL is, that is just a fact.

BL's position is just classic example of the Lib 'tard attitude that dominates America today:

If something bad happens to you, find somebody else to blame.

There's no personal accountability or responsibility.  It's always somebody else's fault.

Only a complete idiot will admit Dubose did something wrong but then say he had nothing to do with it.

That's BL logic.
