A lot of butthurt Pats fans out there today. Most don't understand that this ruling was less about deflated footballs and all about the power that the NFLPA gave to the Office of the Commissioner through collective bargaining.

Actual Facebook conversation between me and a FB friend (butthurt Pat's fan) this morning:

Me: Brady's suspension is less about science and air and footballs, and more about the fact that Tom Brady willfully and deliberately destroyed a piece of evidence that was part of the investigation shortly before meeting with Ted Wells. That would be TB's cell phone. TB brought this on himself with his arrogance.

Her: As a Patriot hater, You tell yourself what you want to justify it in your mind. It's all about Roger's ego and people translating the Patriots winning records/championships to arrogance. it's only arrogance when it's not your team.

I think Brady should have to earn his starting role back with the Pats.

I'd put him on special teams for the first couple of weeks back from his suspension. Maybe make him the gunner on the kickoff team. Evaluate his performance after week 8 or so and see if it makes sense to put him back in charge of the offense.
