Hockey Reference only has lists of players from Major Junior leagues so we're going to base the available teams off that list.  If somebody can provide a link to a more comprehensive "minor league" hockey teams that would be great!

Great choice!  I started putting together some of the teams to gauge salary cap and see how'd they'd look on paper.  My initial thought was to keep the cap lower to allow an overall competitive league.

My Seattle Thunderbirds team comes in a little over $90 million and that's with Glenn Anderson & Petr Nedved as my top players.

For the sake of simplicity, we'll use the amateurs teams listed in the link from Hockey Reference.

We could probably do an entire AHL theme league next time!

Quick question Laval Titans folded and Became the Acadie-Bathurst titans.  Would I include those players as well?

I'm going strictly by the teams listed in this link.  You can combine all the Laval teams listed in order to make your team.

That's why I made the cap $100 million.  Peterborough, St. Catherine's and Oshawa look very strong too!

Even Sault Ste. Marie minus Gretzky could be a great team!

Yes that would be fine.  I'm also going to allow some combo teams to help fill rosters.

For my Seattle team I used a couple players from Everett and Tacoma since they're located in the same region.

I'll update the forum to reflect eligible combos!

It's been a lot of fun putting them together on paper. Not the normal player pool of other theme leagues!!

Hey guys, I've updated page 1 to reflect changes in elgible teams and some combos I've created in order to help out lesser teams to fill out a complete roster.

There are some teams that had no goalie, like Moose Jaw for example so hopefully this will help us get filled!
