 If this stalls for too long, maybe you could allow two cities. It is very hard to find 23 skaters who have average or better numbers. Goalies are hard, too; as some teams never had a good one. I still call for goalies to be a wild card. Up to you, but if this goes, you might have to change some things. Cap is just fine though at 125m

I'll take Sault Ste. Marie if Gretzky is back in.  DO I get to use the pre-OHL versions of Sault teams?

For simplicity of eligible players, I decided to use only players provided in the link on page 1 of the forum.  In this theme. Sault St. Marie is one of the top teams IMO.  

Yes you can use Gretzky!

So you've already picked the players for each team?  We must use the player lists on page one?  We're not allowed to substitute even other modern day OHL Greyhounds?  Wikipedia says the Greyhounds joined the OHL in 1972, and there are more choices than appear on your list.

I can sitemail you a list of players to check, or if there's a league number you can check them on the inside.

I haven't necessarily predetermined players you can use, but the link provided on page one does give each city a pretty good pool to choose from.

As long as there is a list of players that I can verify rosters, I'm game to opening up a bit if it helps us get filled.

I'm hesitant to limit goalies because some cities literally only have 2 in the database to choose from.  I've created every team on paper to see what they look like and there are some strong goaltenders in this theme.

The Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds were part of a league called the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League from 1962-1972 when they jumped to the OHL.  I can make a team of only post-1972 Soo players, but if you find that the other franchises have an older and deeper pool of players to draw from, and allow me the 1960s, there are certainly players I would use.  Tony Esposito stands out as a prime example; he played for the Soo in 1963.

 I don't mean to limit them. Just let us have to use ONE from the franchise and then draft a second and/or third g.t.  from any team, any year.and even cap at 91%  or say $5 million, either or. There are a couple of franchises with almost nothing in net.. so this would give the owner at least a starter

Thank you for the prompt replies! I'm going to reach out to the original owners that signed up and offer them first right of refusal on theteams they claimed.

Also will look at some combos to see how lineups are competitive. Need to add 2016-17 players to the mix!
