If someone played a partial season do you only use the season with your team or the full season. Having a hard time getting the 2011 brewers even up to 88 million

You can play him as a Brewer or twist his stats to another team.

Most, if not all of the teams are in the high to mid $70M to low $80M range . . . so, your twisted $88M +/- will be in range with other teams.
I went with $100M cap so all teams could get as much out of their lineup as possible.

Just went through 18 of the 35 teams available (1997 - 2015) to get the WIS salary cap per team prior to any twisting.
Here are the salary cap results:  

1  -  $57M
6  -  $62M - $69M
4  -  $70M
1  -  $71
1  -  $72M
1  -  $74.5M
2  -  $75M
1  -  $76M

Of course, twisting is up to the owner . . . how the cap rises depends on where the perceived need is on a per team basis.
