This guy has been on the 60 Day for over 100 games now and hasnt gotten a recovery bump yet.. At this point is he probably not going to recover anymore?

He'll get one at game 161.

He is available to return in 2 days.  Do I need to leave him on to get a recovery? 

When I looked at his profile, it said 50 days.

But if it's only 2 days, then he'll probably get a recovery bump next cycle.

Why is recovery so inconsistent? I have $16M in medical and a 25-year old who's been on the 60-day DL for 96 days now without a recovery cycle. Does the type of injury influence recovery cycles or is it just random?

Totally random. My star pitcher went down a few seasons ago with a shoulder injury. 90 days, one bump at the end of the season and he was nowhere near as good.

Yes, type of injury affects recovery schedule. Shoulder inflammation is different than shoulder impingment, etc, there's a different amount of days they're out and a different number of cycles in-between recoveries. Some injuries only get one, you wait around forever for the 2nd injury recovery but you get a regular season instead, it's just the way it goes

"Injured players do not go through development cycles. When they get ready to return they will go through a Time of Return event or if the injury is long enough they will go through one at the end of the season."

CS sent me this response when I asked them about recovery cycles. Apparently whoever responded isn't aware players get injury recovery cycles while on the DL. Always nice when people responding to tickets don't even know the game.

Anybody has a list that shows all of the possible injuries and the expected down times. I know i have seen it before, but I did not shave the link.
