Just looking at the MVP, Cy Young etc. lists makes this league attractive - lots of Walter Johnsons, Christy Mathewsons, Dimaggio, Ted Williams, Mickey Mantle etc. only one Addie Joss - a very great pitcher but for tragic reasons his role in the history of baseball is not quite what it is in most WIS leagues. 

I think I bring this league up to 24. 

Group assignments are posted on page 1. Specsman gets Group 1, FANTOMAS gets Group 2, slainte gets Group 3, ..., marlowe gets Group 10, and so on.

Thanks for noticing the MVP and Cy Young lists, italyprof. They are there to chronicle the history of the league and display the variety of talent that plays. By the way, Joe DiMaggio beat out Ted Williams ('58) in the current season, which seemed ironic and perfect.

My team may be late getting in.  This is the only day I have this week with time to work on my roster and drafting is down. 

That's right, the salary update just happened. Checking a few of my guys, it looks like there were only minor changes. Drafting is back up, by the way.

looks like my 1906 Cubs deadball pitchers just got a bit more expensive!

Yep - small changes for my players but just enough and we are over the CAP.

The scrubs went down in price. Not much to cheer about.

Before you enter, please check that ALL your pitchers are from your ten teams, and every hitter over $225K is too. Hitters between $200K and $225K must be from any of the YEARS your teams played in. Also, you must have at least 5500 PA and 1300 IP.
