also companies can inject the factor of patriotism into their decision...there is no rule against that.......just because trump doesnt do that in his business. other companies still can.
If an American company can make 2 cents more by transferring all of their jobs out of the country -- and in the process putting thousands of Americans out of work -- it is their DUTY to do so. To suggest otherwise is communist claptrap! PROFITS PROFITS PROFITS! SHAREHOLDERS! PUSH PUSH PUSH!

if companies are patriotic and make a good product here maybe they would get more sales here from the people who call themselves patriots.

You liberals are amazing. If he DID everything he promised ("the wall", jailing Hillary, etc.), you'd be ******** about that. Because he shows a willingness to make deals and soften hard-line stances, you're complaining (or trying to get others to complain). Most adults understand the difference between campaign rhetoric and what-it-actually-takes-to-make-things-happen.

And BTW, he isn't even President yet. So, theoretically, none of these promises have even been broken.... yet.

the only problem is that pence and trump did exactly what trump said during the whole campaign was dumb and stupid...giving massive tax abatements to keep companies here.....also this was unique....the parent company has a 5 billion govt contract they could lose......also it wasnt 1100 jobs...it was 800...he tends to exaggerate. even when something good happens....it is a trump trait.....with all that leverage he only saved 40 % of the jobs....lets see what happens down the road.
i fully support buying american products. over foreign products whenever possible.....id love to see a list posted of some american companies with american workers making the products.
this from the indystar newspaper today the details of the deal 5mil in tax credits over 10 YEARS if the company keeps the 1069 JOBS during the 10 year period (not 800) 1mil in training grants for new employees MORE JOBS 1mil in additional tax credits provided carrier spends 16mil in improvements to the facility MORE JOBS for the facility and JOBS for the companies doing the renovations. now lets look at oduma plan for carrier employees ................................................. oh ya nothing but a new federal training facility so we can the american public can pay for 1069 people to work at mcdonalds and collect food stamps to make up the difference from $30.91 a hour (the average pay at the carrier plant) to the $10.00 from their future employer. so maybe trump backpedaled on something he said in the campaign process what politician has"nt and if we as the american government have to hold a few carrots (the parent company And their 5bil govt contracts) over the head of american businesses i say HELL YES do what ever is neccessary to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN
