Crum - The WCC is 'On the Rise' Topic

Nice story developing out on the 'Crummy' West Coast. Many of the top commentators in college basketball, including Jay Bilas, Dan Dackich, and even Fran Fraschilla call this a 'conference on the rise.' KenPom has it rated as the mid-major conference most likely to produce a final four team in Crum over the next three seasons. AND WE HAVE OPENINGS!

Geographical diversity - schools in California, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Nevada - helps keep us from stepping on each other's toes in recruiting.

Three teams made the NT last season with another in the PIT. We expect to send at least four to the NT next season, with a long range goal of sending six annually. But we need your help. Here are our openings:

Loyola Marymount: C+ prestige with 9 pretty strong returners. Good chance to go straight to the NT in season one.

San Fransisco: D prestige with 7 seniors and 4 juniors on the roster next season. Quick bump and then build your own program.

Gonzaga: D+ prestige with 10 returning players including 7 seniors.

San Jose State: D prestige with 8 players graduating. Use that good cash to build your own roster right away.

Boise State: D- prestige with 7 scholarships open with 3 decent seniors coming back as well. But "all the potatoes you can eat" comes with the coaching contract.

Nevada: D prestige with 7 players coming back. Looks like a long-term project but a nice geographical location for recruiting.

San Diego: D- prestige with 4 scholarships available. A few nice players coming back and the proximity to Tijuana will help alleviate the pain of a rebuild.

We have strong coaches in the conference and are looking for more! Lively coaches corner during the season. Join us!
