In regard to 69-70 and 79-80, it doesn't say anything about the players you choose being from the 70s. I think all years are fair game, as long as all of the other criteria are met.
Jsa is right, all players are good. as long as they have a Def Rating 70 to 79. Of course, there are line requirements as well has D-man requirements.

I'm going to have to pull out for now then because it's hard to build a team with these rules. I had done using a clone, but I'm not feeling like doing it over again unless it's still open in a month then we'll see

Guys, what are your thoughts for clones? My original thought was no to clones, but I know the draft is restrictive, so would be open to them (in a limited, restricted way :) as I don't want clone filled teams) dependent on what you guys think. Let me know.

I did manage to draft a team within the rules but it doesn't matter to me if you allow some clones.

I am fine with no clones. I like the idea of a hard draft.

To be frank, this is an expert-level theme. It's not for everyone.

Some owners may be more comfortable with something like a generic $125 million league.

question about the salary cap for each line. is there any wiggle room? for example, my top line salaries total 28 mil, but my 2nd line is at 20.1 mil. i guess my question is whether the per line cap is a hard cap? thanks
