Reader Beware: It is a 6,000+ word epic. I've been working, on-and-off, on this piece for over a month now. I thought Recruiting deserved quite a bit of focus, since it is the lifeblood of this game. So be prepared to set aside a significant investment of time if you are interested in this one.

Yeah... that same impulse hit me. Am I hampering my own recruiting efforts by attempting to raise the skill of others?

A sarcastic question, but what if my plan is to not punt on 4th and 2 from the opp 43? Seriously though, who can I petition to get some 4th down flexibility? I think I'd rather go for it 100 percent of the time than to keep punting in those spots.

Set your "Fourth Down Approach" in your Game Plan settings to "Very Aggressive," then shorten up your Max FG Distance to be less than 43.

Very Aggressive (in the engine's mind) says to punt on 4th and 2 on the OPP 43 unfortunately. It was more of a joke about planning around the sim's unreasonable constraints in weird spots like this. Sorry to vh for clogging up the thread.

Very Aggressive	4th and 1	OWN 41 - OPP 1
	4th and 2	OPP 42 - OPP 24, OPP 14 - OPP 1
	4th and 3	OPP 38 - OPP 27
	4th and 4	OPP 35 - OPP 29
	4th and 5	OPP 34 - OPP 30
