You may run into trouble with a move like that. Some people really like to have the 24th-25th slot.

Just skip them when 24 hours run out - or pick for them and run 2 teams.

Excellent point foxx. Yeah, I think I will stick with the original plan. If he doesn't pick within the next 2 hours, I will take someone for him and if he doesn't like it or something tragic happened to him since Sunday, I will run a 2nd team.

OK, as for this next one, it is very easy to pick for tony. We all know what he likes and what his strategy is every draft. I feel VERY confident that I could pick for him and he'd be very happy with it. Still, I am going to give him 8 hours of drafting time, so let's say 6 pm to 10 pm is four, 8 am to noon is four, so if he doesn't pick by 2 pm tomprrpw, I will pick for him or send a proxy pick to someone to post for him. Hopefully he picks late tonight, as he often does after we wait for him for hours.

After this pick comes in, it is all consistent owners who are on the ball and newbies who should want to impress everyone that they are on the ball, so I'm hoping things pick up rapidly after tony. Send proxy lists if you won't be ready!

I changed my mind about waiting (grayfoxx will be so pleased lol). I don't see any reason to wait. tonyvoss has been in my league since day one, and we all know he bases all his teams around passing offenses, so I think it would be safe to say it will be a very Brady day for him...

that would mean they would get skipped over (just like the rest of the draft) and you and I wouldn't have to be waiting forever.

*shrugging my shoulders* did I ask everyone to post that they were ready and everything or was that just a dream I had? This is unbelievable! It almost seems like this may end up morphing into the "own two teams NDL"...could we actually end up with the same 12 guys owning two teams each--one in each conference? lol

By the way, while we continue to wait, I have a true story to share: I have been personally communicating with the 5th overall pick in the famed 1983 NFL draft through work. He was on a lead list from going to our website and filling out a "request for more information" form on investing in some of our Oil & gas drilling programs. I called him up and during our first conversation, asked "hey, did you by any chance used to be play football?" To which he said "I did and so did my dad". Very cool guy. And to top it off, he got drafted by my favorite team at that time too so I was downright GIDDY to realize it was actually him. Can anyone tell me who I am talking about (major bonus points if you can do it without looking it up)?
