Mize at 294 seems a steal to me. The c- fielding and average 28 homers for his best season brings his salary down, which may have kept him off of people's search lists.

There are just so many great players in this league with so many great statlines that it is real hard to label anyone a "steal" or a "reach".

Respectfully disagreed. Even with things like home ballpark and team needs factored in, there are definitely picks that have been made strangely early and late so far, both relative to home park and other players still available for the same and/or different positions.

We have gone from the revered to the reviled in our lineup. And now I hope someone will tell me what happened to McGwire in the first season of this league. Checking his stats it looked like he was cut mid-season after a very poor start. Or was he banned for steroid use?
