$50M Draft (4th Rnd Clone) S2 Evals & Commentary Topic

I did see a similar mikee1 team in the $52 million league with Payton, Paul Pierce and Wilt win the title. Is a team with Payton, Wade and Gilmore close to being that good in a $50 million league? I am hopeful.

Also how does Gary Payton drop to # 65 and both Michael Williams and Rajon Rondo get taken ahead of him?

This is the oddest draft I can remember. New owners or what? So many weird thints

-Wilt #4
-Westbroook second round
-Michael Williams
-the "short season" whiteside going #25 as per the other thread discussion
-Camby taken in the 60s- I know he has fallen a bit lately with the new bigs but that has to be a new low
makes for good fun though!

I really like Westbrook and wanted to own him. I thought he's better than t-Mac and I think t-Mac went 2nd round last year, so...

I think the clone round is to "blame". Here's another hot take, I don't think Bill Russell gets drafted in S3...unless Banditone joins...

Really tough decision on who to clone...lots of good options fit my team at the 2/3 spots, but I wanted the salary flexibility so I spent the $9 mil on locking down SG.

glad I moved up in the second. Nate McMillan and Jose Calderon are the guys I was targeting. Happy to grab Barry and move back in the 5th

I took Michael Williams because I wanted a 2 usage point (i.e. 17.5-22.1 Usage% by ashamael's chart) point guard to go with two 3 point specialists, Pau and Shaq.

Williams plays decent d and has a nice assist%. And he can shoot fairly well.

But what the f*** do I know? I never have done well in big $$$ NBA theme leagues. Lol.

I've never seen the guy get drafted, but again that means nothing. Also, lots of flack on Whiteside; regardless of how I use him, I keep him from everyone else. I'd love to know how the 15-16 is exceedingly better than the 14-15 other than minutes, blocks and +12 on defense.

From what I see, similar usage, 14-15 is better rebounding and higher eFG% I guess I must be missing something. It wasn't strategic; I just really wanted Gobert in that spot seeing him available and with 50 mpg combined between 2 great seasons. Near identical usage and upsides.

I was praying to Cthulhu ( or other religious figure insert here) that you wouldn't take gobert. I knew you were taking nance. I almost took him right before you. Gobert was too good to not try to clone.

How different is this draft? Only two returning clones

Mark Price and the Champion, Larry Sanders.

I like that you're rolling the dice with different seasons of Ewing and Nowitzki. You also had Rodman last season, which is interesting.

I am hoping my lack of turnovers will make up for my lack of defense
4/28/2016 6:36 PM
I keep wondering if there is any way that I could screw this team up.
