Rumor mill is buzzing about the possible return of Jordan Staal. IMO, $6 million a year for a third line center puts us right back in salary cap Hades. Would love to see "Dad" Cullen come back for one more year. Also some sites have us becoming disenchanted with Kessel and now with his intermediary Tocchet gone off to Phoenix, there is talk of him being traded as well. Going to be an interesting start to the season for the boys. It's a short summer guys, so party hard with the cup and get ready to defend again!!!

Dumo got paid, now all that is left is Sheary. We still have a nice sum of cash left as we are well below the cap. Rumors still have us in the Duchene trade watch. Hoping "Dad" Cullen returns as the 4th line center which would make trading for a #3 guy less urgent.

Best part of that trade was getting Vegas to eat 40% of Brassard's salary this year AND next. That allowed us to extend Hornqvist today for five years!
