As the BALD League prepares for its final season (well, the final with me as commish), I have a couple of credits in my account. Since it has been ages since I started a league, what better way to use the credits. A long time ago, my good friend “cpetsche” came up with an idea for a league and it was a big success. So I will give this league a second go-round, hopefully with the same result.

This league will not involve any drafting on your part at all. All of the teams have been randomized, and all of the players likewise. Each player appears only once and in general the top salary is used. The top salary for Gretzky was not used and Orr was dropped altogether. Each team has a salary cap of $144 million, and scrubs have been assigned to each team to bring them close to the cap.

There are 24 teams, randomly numbered, and all you need to do is send me a number from 1-24 and I will forward you the team. You must draft the team exactly (no changing players OR salary of the player). I will take the last 2 teams remaining. Also, the first Saphead taking a team (or The Big Cheese, if he takes one) will also get the master list so as to insure the honesty of the commish.

You've got it. And trades are not allowed. I am afraid if trades were allowed, the parity of the rosters would fall by the wayside. As it is, all rosters (before the addition of the scrubs) are within $3 million of each other.
