You have 3 guys with def under 20... if that's your definition of "built" then... I dunno. Can't think of anything clever to say.

There is only one posiition I dont go after defense thus go offense and that is my shooting gaurd position. The rest of the team is built around defense and work ethic.

I just got a new job and currently waiting to do paperwork at Mcdondals 4-5 pm today! I am suppose to be working afternoons and 4 days a week. So it is possible!

When do you want the updates? When I start the process of a all gaurd lineup and one c? Or daily updates like a blog from here. I would perfer to start it once recruting next season starts.

I can't speak for everyone, but a blog sounds like it could be magical.

I have long been interested in running such a team, and with job applications beginning in Phelan Saturday I was thinking this might be the best time to try it out along with Coach Ward. I'm not sure what offense Ward runs with Chowan. I think it's the Triangle. I'm looking for suggestions as far as an offensive scheme conducive to an all guard/ one post set up. Probably Fast break or Motion. I don't know, maybe Flex. Defensively, it has to be the FCP.

Coach Ward...how many post players are you going to have total on your roster?
I will as well keep a blog either on here or the Phelan Forums, if anyone is interested.

Okay, looks like I found a team in D3 Phelan. Washington, MD in the Centennial Conference. They have two PF's returning which would give me a starter and backup at the 5 and then surround them with 4 backcourt players. 10 guards and 2 posts, Motion offense ran uptempo and the FCP defense. This is a SIM ran team as well, so I'll be starting fresh.

Any other stipulations or guidelines I should follow on this experiment?

Since you don't have any rebounding you are really going to have to really emphasize the spd/per/bh/pas you're bh/pas needs to be insanely high and you are going to want to have at minimum to per guys that bomb threes and force teams to be run plus defenses against you.

Definitely. It's going to be a team reminiscent of the Flyin' Illini. Won't win many, if any, but at least I can go through the process with Coach Ward.

Just saying, NC Central has one upperclassmen and no players rated over 50 in defense.

My team is built on defense and work ethic. They were the better team overal.

I'll be running the triangle with my big lineup. I run fastbreak/press right now and i'm sticking to those formations. Untill I decide to run the big lineup. I will only have 1 post player which will be my c.
