4 points of usage, 54.9% efg, gets to the line pretty decent, 100% at both G positions, doesn't foul or turn the ball over, 80+ defense - plug his baseline stats into the search engine and you wind-up with a handful of Lebron seasons, one Chris Paul season and one Mike season and that's it

My team was suppose to be Mailman and Kawhi...I stand before you with Whiteside and Kemp. What's the point of having a plan...

He's not. You should never draft him.

As a rule, I think drafting role players before higher usage guys is a risk. I appreciate Stockton, but Penny is 80% as good as Stockton on assists and eFG% with 40% more usage. You can get comparable value to Wade in the 3rd round (preferable value, IMO), and while Magic does two things better than Penny, they're somewhat negated by his turnovers. To me, the guy who doesn't have to compensate for his own faults is more valuable, but I doubt anyone would argue that Magic is unquestionably better than Penny. The way I see it, it's debatable at most.

There's no universe penny is better than those guys. His usage isn't high enough to be the top scorer, and Stockton is only one tier lower with astronomically higher assists and the same defense. Wade is maybe an acquired taste, but in DH52 is a top 14 stud every time. Magic, I hear you on the turnovers, he's not my personal fave but again, hard to objectively take Penny over him. There's a Pg Who goes much later than Penny - and for sure isn't AS good. But considering the rounds they go in, is arguably a better value

Better than Stockton?

I dunno about Westbrook in this league, man. His 15-16 season seems like the love child of [player who is never drafted in this league] and [player who gets drafted about every 5 seasons].

oh, i don't know about Westbrook at all. 6.0 TOP48 is ridiculous, it's hard to find a backup, eFG% is low, not that many minutes,. 2nd round is at least a round too high. Tracy McGrady was still on the board......i think he's better. (has been taken)

I have. He only played 2380 minutes, which makes him almost exactly as valuable as 13-14 Anthony Davis. There are some things to like about him, of course, but for him to go before Matrix in this league? before Artis and Oscar? he's not that valuable. if he played 2600 minutes, then we can talk, but Elton, AD, Kevin McHale.......Kawhi is not better than those guys in 29 minutes a game.

yo, there are some ridiculous things about that pairing, including eFG%, OReb% and D. you can totally make that work.

in my head, it makes sense not to have any sort of plan until i know who my first round pick is.

My plan always revolves around drafting Kemp and his 18 kids in the 3rd rd, but you done messed that plan all up.

my plan is copying Sly's old plans. this one's called "the Penny's Boozers Tribute plan," and it runs about 18.5 pages.
