1. Do you have to add two players or can you add only one or zero?
2. Do both players you add need to be from the same team? Example you have the 1998 Yankees can you add one player from the1998 Braves and one from the 1998 Indians? Or do both have to be from the 1998 Indians?

You can use players from different teams.

It's combined totals for all your hitters in the seasons you choose - at least that's my understanding.

This is correct.

Schwarze, for the 140M theme, are you sure you want to use ACTUAL totals? First of all, how are you going to check teams, since the entered team totals show stats for 162 games? Secondly it discriminates against using players from the strike shortened seasons like 1981 and 1994.

Also, are the pitcher's batting stats counting towards the team totals in HR's, K's and walks?

In the draft center, yes, but once the teams are entered they appear as /162 for everything. It will make verifying teams more time consuming but won't impact the creation process.

Also, schwarze can verify this but I am pretty sure pitcher's batting stats are not included in the totals. The numbers you should worry about when drafting are the ones that appear as your Team Totals below all your drafted hitters.
