Also, I feel it's much harder to pitch in the 2010s than the 1960s. The 1960s is already notorious for being the best pitchers era. With all the scouting and film we have now, I feel it's much harder to be a pitcher now than back then

Gotta keep in mind that Kershaw has never been to a WS, nor has he even pitched well in the playoffs. Rightly or wrongly, we've seen that HOF voting tend to overweight postseason performance, particularly WS performance.

Koufax has 2 WS MVPs and 3 rings (though he didn't do as much for the first one)

For some reason Kershaw can't pitch against the Cardinals in the post season!

is it because he chokes under pressure?
