5 man rotation help Topic

ok new to the game and have a five man rotation set up with these pitchers. What do you think would be the correct settings so they don't get fatigued throughout the season? Any setup instructions or settings would be greatly appreciated

4 250 inning pitchers would be adequate. A basic starting point is 16 pitches per inning. At 40 starts each/ 6 innings per start, set them at 90-95 max pitches per start. With axing one of those starters, invest in a better bullpen. I would draft 300-400 innings to back them up.

You might upgrade one or more of those guys. Search by ERC#, and avoid high hr/ 9. See how your guys stack up.

Make sure your search settings are on advanced, is at the bottom of the draft page. Compare by $/IP, you can perhaps save a few bucks without losing quality innings.

One thing that some might not look at...when searching, look at their actual innings pitched per game average. A guy with 200 innings but only 5 innings per appearance won't get you deep into games without fatigue issues. There are several search blocks. Use them.
