Couple questions...
1. What about "full seasons" for players that split time across teams, can we use full seasons or only the portion of season with our franchise? By default I usually expect the answer is NO, but it's good to spell this out so it's clear to all.
2. Someone asked before about when the rosters will be finalized - after 120 games, or after game 150something? Based on your 40 IP rule I'd have guessed this will be the latter. I've seen this done both ways; in a league like this that decision can have major impact on drafting strategy.
Good morning.
1. Full seasons are fine, just as long as you are at most 150 innings. Part seasons are fine just as long as you are at most 150 innings. Same goes for position players.
2. Perhaps I answered that one on sitemail instead of here. Sorry. Rosters are finalized with like 4 games to go (game #158). You correctly connected the roster finalized deadline to the playoff eligibility. I am satisfied that the 40 inning/100 PA rule will spread around the players properly. I was afraid people would save a tiny inning excellent pitcher for the playoffs. With this rule, you can only use players in the playoffs that were used significantly during the season.
