Ya, but it still may not matter. If someone's not checking their team, you can still end up running out all your pitchers in the red, even if you have enough innings to start the season.

Right, there's no rule that can be made that can prevent somebody from ignoring their team(s) and losing every game 45-3 due to fatigued pitchers.

A 4-2 cycle, the first decent one in several days...

My 255M team - "Dream Team" is basically a nightmare and might be my downfall.

Apparently my last place teams (and the plural is intentional) are better than anyone else's last place teams. I was afraid I'd embarrass myself when I entered this. Mission Accomplished?

Just took only the second 0-6 I've ever had in this tournament. My teams are definitely trending hard downwards.

My Sadie McMahon experiment in $70M isn't great. 10-22, 15 no decisions, but my pen has picked up 19 wins, perhaps he has at least eaten enough innings and gotten us deep enough to where we win some in the late innings...

do people have a "favorite" and "least favorite" theme in this, kind of regardless of how your team is doing?

I find that I always check my $255 team first. They are kind of fun. I literally hate my team in the "3 years of same franchise" theme. As a Giants fan, I don't know what I was thinking in picking the 2006-08 Dodgers and having to root for Gagne and Kemp every night.

They're just numbers to me. Is that nihilism? Maybe, but it works

Least favorite is the low cap. I always feel my teams are lacking quality, depth, or both...

Favorite? The Improve a team, and the $110M...

Wondering if Commish has kept track of the percentage of teams to make the playoffs of those who advance to Round 2...you got a chart for that?
9/2/2016 8:42 PM
A quick count from the Round 1 standings from last year = 97 playoff teams for the top 24. The top 6 finishers had 30 playoff teams... the next 6 had 26 teams, the third 6 had 21 teams and the last 6 had 20 teams. You can go back a bunch of years and easily count this.

One person with 2 playoff teams made it to round 2, but he got 38 bonus points from those 2 teams. I was the only person with 4 playoff teams to miss round 2, as they combined for only 32 bonus points. The average bonus points per playoff team is roughly 13.7 points per team.

In the $140M league, my team is 25-18 at home and 13-34 on the road. I am not sure I have seen that large of a differential before.

My $110M team is 33-19 at home and 18-38 on the road. My $80M team had a similar split that was reversed at one point, but now it's a bit more reasonable: 18-35 at home, 32-23 away.
