I think your math is wrong, ozomatli. You're a lock to make the playoffs in the 70M, 140M & 255M themes.
Yeah, the pm games clinched two spots for me. Minimum is now 1 division win and 2 WCs

Irony... My $70M team that began with a 3-16 whimper is my first to clinch a division. My $80M has a 1 game lead, but needs a win to cement a wc spot. $100M need a win to clinch the division. $110M is up 2 but Jeff can overtake me...$140M is 1 game behind, but must win division, wc is out of reach. $255 imploded weeks ago, after being up by 10 early...and bigmc's $110M team, which neither schwarze or i want anything to do with in round 1, is up by 45 games...is loaded with base burglars, yet is 1 for 1 in SB.

I know the feeling. My $140M team started 0-8 and looked doomed. They're now my most dominant team and looking to win the division by a healthy margin.

My $80 mil team was below .500 four days ago. Then it stunned me by winning 11 of 12 and making the playoffs despite only 85 wins.

What's the opposite of doing a Jtpsops?

Success :P

Touché.

If it has no WIS lingo name, maybe a Rollins, after the 07 Phillies? I'm a Mets fan so it presumes someone is bumbling ahead of you.

I'm shocked my $80 mil team Rollinsed its way into the postseason.

Nicely done, Doc

I somehow got 4 division titles. Your $140m team edged me out, and I had no chance at $255, but I don't play high caps so that came as no surprise...

A Pyrrhic Victory is where you schwarze the afternoon session but miss out on a playoff spot when somebody else wins their clinching game.

Looks like I will end up with 3 playoff teams. Unfortunately, my best run differential team (exp win% .674) is going to miss the playoffs. Not sure if that is the highest or if somebody can beat that.

You deserve better. Some good teams get shut out, some not so good get a good bounce. Luck of the draw.

Your 3 teams will likely outpoint my 4...

Overall, my teams went 115-164 in one-run games. So, I guess I don't feel too badly about having a 79-83 team win its division.

Not unless my 100-win team upsets jfranco's 108-win team in the first round.

Steve Rogers tosses a perfect game for my 73 orioles team in the first game of the playoffs!! My first one ever I believe...good timing

Just an observation. The road team is 6-0 in my three playoff series.

A.M. Update: Road teams now 8-1.

P.M. Update: Road teams now 10-1. Unreal.

PM2 Update: Road teams now 12-1. Two of my three teams advanced.

Both of my playoff series are against teams with which I split the season series 6-6 (3-3 in each park), and in both leagues the wild-card team came from the same division as the team with the best record (I face the WC in one league and and play #3 in the other). 1-1 in the series that started today; the other starts tomorrow.
