Really though?

I would love to pair him with Wade, McGrady or Kobe. Cheaper per minute than Porter, more usage than Porter or Ward and more minutes. Certainly better than any other point guards you'll find in the 5th round.

psst: Terry Porter's per minute cost at 2665 minutes for 6.7m is $3.99 while Barros's is 3318/8.2m = $4.03 and both Porter and Barros are 2 pt usage guys - not a huge difference in attempts at all - in fact almost exactly the same .35 attempts a minute for both - meanwhile Porter has a higher assist rate and is better (by 15 rating points) on defense

and usage is hardly to reason why you would use Ward who is significantly (40 rating points) better on defense

anyway, minutes are the quality on which the value relies. so, more minutes, more quality.

Ward is deceptive. it's a great eFG%, but he averages 13.3 PP48. the defense is nice, of course.....but you could get that from ______. you could probably get more from _____, given his minutes. it's all relative....

all else being equal more minutes is almost always less economical - minutes is part of the valuation equation so it's inevitable (and in fact 3300+ minutes of Porter would be more expensive than Barros once that was factored in)

of course in this theme it matters less because we have a high cap but that said all these leagues have a cap of some sort, so no minutes aren't exactly the quality on which the value relies, it's more like Quality*minutes/$$$ - you can have too many minutes to use in a high cap league otherwise (in other words in a high cap league you want to pay as much for per minute as possible)

Ok. If you had said "Barros is an A- Terry Porter" then I wouldn't make jokes about it.

Glad to see that everybody is so consumed with bds9992's A- comments so much that they aren't paying any attention to the most awesome team ever build around Dennis Rodman. Okay so who's gonna draft my team into their division? milest what is your evaluation?

You'll win some games and make the playoffs, but it's not my favorite team Vance. 4 guys under 50D and not enough ast. You'll prob end up okay though since you're efg% is nice across the board. I'll definitely run a -3 against you

I'm still upset I didn't draft Rodman.. and I was hoping for Ewing in the 3rd and I would have paired him with Kris Humphreys (who is very underrated).... But, that's beside the point... I think you have the ingredients for a very good team. I wish KAT played better D, but he's still a viable option late in the draft... also, I doubt I will be playing -3 D against you considering Ewing shoots 55% of his shots from midrange. Not sure about KAT, but I doubt he's over 55% inside- probably 45-52% (just a guess since I'm on my phone)... Not sure which Dr J you're going with, but I know which one I'd use, and it's not always the popular choice... You will certainly out-rebound my & most teams... I usually draft very good rebounding teams, but not this time... good luck.. my track record for predicting teams is as bad as it gets, btw....

I'll think about that jt7king. You do realize that by being in charge of one of the four division drafts will help me to select teams that should boost my team's record. Actually your team last season was probably better than a normal 52 game winner. If I remember correctly milest drafted one of the toughest divisions ever ha ha.
