Pudge always was available.Too much table talk.
He was not ALWAYS available - when the keepers were posted I made a spreadsheet for all of the teams.........Pudge was the keeper posted for Texas.
All I am asking is when did he make the change?

I've had it as Napoli from the very beginning.

When I originally posted the keepers, I had it as Pudge, but changed it to Napoli before any picks were made. I should have posted something here in the forum when I did. My apologies.

Any particular reason why we don't do a snake draft order instead of this static version?

Bad teams need the help the most.

Probably due to the fact that the weaker teams at the top of the draft are only getting a shot at unprotected players as a means to make up for their poorer quality players (and based on the data we've collected over the season, they need all the help they can get). Maybe if all undrafted players where available (i.e. including teams not selected), then it might make up for the fact they are picking low in the 2nd round.

This is exactly right. Much like the real MLB draft (or NFL, or NBA), the weaker teams in this theme get to draft first. Sometimes it really helps them break through. The Twins have won a championship in this theme, and the Tigers have finally made the playoffs a few times after struggling for a long time. Last season, the Diamondbacks had the American League's best record in grabbing their first-ever playoff berth. And because the draft order is fluid from season to season based on results in the theme, if a team starts to get significantly stronger, their draft slot will drop.
