All pitchers must have an OAV at/above .270. All hitters must have an AVG at/below .230. No DH, AAA, Clones, WW, Trades. Cap is $70 mil. In this league, you get to draft players you NEVER use in Sim. cwillis, what about injuries on or off?

Hi Bat - Great question and I'm glad you asked. Injuries are ON. I have never created a league where I turn injuries off. My feeling is that part of this game and drafting correctly is coming up with the appropriate amount of plate appearances and innings pitched to be competitive. Being able to figure out what balance of those stats has a huge bearing on whether you make the playoffs or not. Having injuries turned off means you could draft fewer of those statistics without penalty. Frankly, I don't know why that is even an option...perhaps there are certain types of leagues that I have yet to play where injuries off works.

I have to say, I have no idea if I drafted enough PAs and IPs for my own team in this league. I don't know if this league will play out as a hitters or pitchers league or just how it will turn out.

Sim is much more about numbers than it is about baseball. We just happen to get to use these historical seasons of baseball players to play this numbers game and that's what is part of the fun. In this league, we get to BOTH use players we would hardly ever use in most leagues AND fiddle around with numbers where we do not have a baseline of how they will play out.
