... because they seem to be for real. OPS over the last 30 days? .823

Pitching staff has a 3.62 ERA.

and for PSBL - They've earned over a 10 WAR.

I hate this franchise.

I think they were a contender at the beginning of the year. They just hit some pitching speed bumps. Probably the best team in the AL right now.

No way. I know some people picked them, but that was just media Sox slobberfest.

There was no reason to think their pitching would hold up. Porcello has pitched out of his mind - no one saw that coming. And Wright, before he got hurt, was totally unexpected. Those two are the biggest reason the Sox are where they are, IMO.

Will likely clinch the division tonight.

Id prefer they have home field for the ALCS, but don't really want them to face Toronto in the Divisional round.
