Low DI is the... Topic

place to be. A couple low DI teams are bringing in incredible hauls. I feel we should change the artificial limits put on DII and DIII coaches.

Idea: during the first period the attention put on players from respective division is multiplied by, along with prestige, (Division of recruited player/Division of recruited team) but ONLY when a higher level team is on a player.

Example:
Kentucky and Kentucky St. (DII) are on a DI player. During the first period, Kentucky St's attention counts for half as much.

Example:
Only Kentucky St. is on a DI player. Attention counts full amount.

Example:
Kentucky St and Bowdoin (DIII) are on a DI player. Kentucky St. gets full attention value and Bowdoin gets 1/3 attention value.

Example:
Kentucky St. and Kentucky Wesleyan (DII) are on a DI player. Both get full attention value.

Example:
Kentucky St. put 187 point of attention value on a recruit during the first half of Period 1. Kentucky then comes along right at the halfway point of Period 1. Eastern Kentucky doesn't care that much about the recruit so they on put 200 attention value points on the recruit. Kentucky St. put 334 more during the second half of Period 1. This is multiplied by 1/2 because Eastern Kentucky is now on the recruit. In the past Eastern Kentucky would have won this battle even though, depending on prestige, Kentucky St. put on about 6 times as much attention. Now, Kentucky St. is in great position to win the battle.
