So, despite Hillary being further ahead in the polls than Obama in 2008, Hillary can't win by more than 192?

She might, but I wouldn't be willing to bet on it.

Will you answer my wuestion regarding cross party endorsements?

Politicians are self-serving. Well, people, in general, are self-serving. I look at endorsements as a "What is better for me?" action.

Ted Cruz is pretty unpopular among Republicans. Why?

I guarantee that if it was Cruz vs Clinton, no prominent GOP would be endorsing Clinton and some major newspapers would be endorsing Cruz. And, as you point out, people in the GOP hate Cruz.

I wonder why Trump isn't getting the same support?
10/3/2016 11:49 AM
I wonder why Hillary hasn't locked this election down.

If Cruz had won, there would be pretty consistent support across the right.

As to 'Media is self serving' and Politicians are self serving', of course they are! If self preservation is their #1 objective, then the fact that nearly all of them are distancing themselves from Trump tells us all that they all think he's gonna sink to the bottom and they want to make sure they are wearing their swimmies and lifejackets.

Trump is obviously struggling with women and minorities. Hitching yourself to that truck is political suicide. But, among voters, Hillary is not distancing herself. Why?

She's a 2-1 favorite and climbing. That's pretty locked down.

In the last week, all the gains by Trump have washed out because instead of reinforcing what his 'strengths' are, hes engaging in Twitter wars with models. We all know he's losing ground because All3 isn't cutting and pasting poll results every hour.

2-1 favorite? Is this a football game?

192 electoral vote victory. Yes or no?

She only needs 270 to win. She's heavily favored in enough states that it looks like 270 is extremely likely.

What's with the 192 margin obsession?
10/3/2016 1:52 PM
Obama won in a landslide over, according to you, "a viable candidate". Seems like Hillary should completely destroy a candidate that is not viable.
10/3/2016 1:59 PM
Let's say, for example, that there is a combination of states with the same demographics and polling as CA. The electoral votes for that combination of states totals 270.

The rest of the states are demographically identical to Alabama.

Clinton would be a literal lock to win the election 270-268. It would be automatic. There would be zero uncertainty as to who would win.

The margin would be 2 electoral votes.

Electoral margin doesn't matter. The likelihood that one candidate will get to 270 is all that matters.

If you can't steamroll a candidate who is deemed "not viable", what the **** is going on?
