It is. You may not like the way he went about it but he had been a successful business man.

It's not that I have any problem with the way he went about it. But he started wealthy. It's not a HUGE success just staying wealthy.

He took a helicopter to the top of Everest and then called everyone who only climbed it half way a loser.

Businesses go "bankrupt" for a number of reasons. Some declare bankruptcy just to buy time for a turnaround. Some are caught in a volatile business during an economic downturn. Some are mismanaged cluster *****. Smart businesspeople understand bankruptcy and use it as a recovery tool (or a shield to shareholder value)
