Trades, Waiver Wire, Minor Leaguers, Shootouts and Playoff Intensity: OFF

Injuries: 8
Salary Cap $125,000,000

**One Defenceman per team is exempt from this rule.

Goons (Edited on Sept 30th)
Your 3 scrubs must be 3 goons. I'll define a goon as a player with a salary less than $500,000 and more than 250 penalty minutes.
Your goons must play every game until they have a combined penalty minute total of 500 minutes.
If a goon gets injured/suspended, he CAN'T be replaced.

To qualify for the playoffs, your goons must have recorded a combined total of 500 penalty minutes, and at least 150 minutes each. (This shouldn't be a problem)
New - You may draft any goons you want--they don't have to be from your franchise.
New - Your goons must play on 1 regular line and at least 1 special teams line

In essence, what I see happening is owners trying to amass 500 penalty minutes from their 3 goons as quickly as possible, so they can bench the goons and get their "good" players into the lineup. Owners that can get their goons to 500 PiM quickly will possibly have a few games with their "playoff" lineup matched against squads still fielding 3 goons.

A bit of jocularity to spice up the early season.

Problem is: 2 of my goons are out at the same time. I have to run and be short two players?

I'm going to tweak the goon requirements....I think they are too restrictive as they stand. My intent is for this to be a franchise twist first and foremost, with an accent of goonery. But I think the goonery requirements as they stand are causing too many concerns/questions.
