We have one opening in the seventh season (1980/81 and 1981/82) of a double season progressive which started with the 1968/69 & 1969/70 seasons. This league began with the era of Wilt, Baylor, Robertson, Dave Bing, Earl Monroe etc. We progress 2 seasons at a time. Each season owners are able to select which of the 2 seasons they will use for each of their players, if the player was WIS eligible in both seasons. There will be adequate players available.
The team available is the Buffalo Braves (name can be changed and city moves can be made to an unoccupied city which fits geographically in the Central Division). The current owner has posted have posted a preliminary keeper list for the Braves below. We will be ready to begin the draft in about 2 weeks.
The Braves are 32-35 with 15 games left in season 6 (1978/79 and 1979/80) and will be drafting about 12th to 15th . A preliminary keeper list for the Huskies is posted below subject to change by the replacement owner
Since we progress 2 seasons at a time, player turnover in the league is rapid. Rookies for the 1980/81 and 1981/82season include Rolando Blackman, Joe Barry Carroll, Tom Chambers, James Donaldson, Mike Gminski, Eddie Johnson, Bill Laimbeer, Rick Mahorn, Larry Nance, Larry Smith, Isiaih Thomas, Kiki Vandeweghe, Buck Williams, Herb Williams, and Orlando Woolridge.
