Along with Britton/Jansen, Full Season of Chapman (.158 OAV, 0.86 WHIP, .31 Hr/9, 58 IP, should be good to go with a 10/15 pitch count setting, even 15/15 if needed).
Andrew Miller has some interesting stuff going on (i.e. 1.09 bb/9, 0.69 whip, and .160 OAV, but the 8 HRs allowed in 74-1/3 scares me. Maybe in Target, Municipal or other park that suppresses long ball. Need to see how the HRs normalize... there were a lot this year as pointed out above.
Dan Otero might be useful in a "-" singles park. Ditto Chris Devenski. (108 IPs in 48 games, 0.91 whip, 0.33 hr/9, but .211 OAV). I think Verlander will be difficult to use given the aforementioned 1.20 HR/9 number despite how it might be normalized.
On the position player side, I'm anxious to see what Freddie Freeman costs. 43 doubles, 34 HR (only 91 RBI, playing for the Braves must be tough, not that RBI matter in the SIM), and a .302/.400/.569 triple slash. Hopefully Brandon Belt will be cheap and end up as some sort of value play in the right park. He ended up with 41 2bs and 8 trips to go with a .275/.394/.474 slash.... has 104 BBs to boot. Goldschmidt will be expensive, interesting he was 32/37 in SBs/SB attempts.
It's like Christmas in October when the new players are released. I don't play in many OLs these last several years, but have always dropped in an OL team when the new players are released and they usually do well. This year will be no exception, except for the doing well part.
