Will Hillary be the worst President ever? Topic

I might have voted Kasich. None of the other jokers.

Pretty sure anyone who's been around knows I believe we have the two worst candidates in my lifetime to choose from this election.

But, back on point, the fact that Trump talked about grabbing ***** isn't the reason you think he'd be a bad President, it's really a bunch of other things, right?

More importantly, is there any chance in hell you'd have voted Republican vs Hillary?
As you can see, I didn't ask if you'd have considered Trump vs Hillary. I asked Republican vs Hillary and you replied "Probably not." Nothing about Trump being a reasonable candidate.
If you had the choice between generic Democrat and, say, Marco Rubio, what do you think you'd do?

By "generic" do you mean?

1. Increase taxes
2. Bigger government
3. Expand social programs

The same level of generic as the Republican in your question.

If it's a typical "tax and spend" Dem, no. If they scream "FAIR SHARE" at every rally, no. I did vote for Bill twice.

Oh ok. I feel the same way about the typical Republican.

Good talk.

What, in your mind, is the typical Republican?

Socially Conservative
Anti-science
Increased taxes on lower incomes, reduced taxes on upper incomes ("broaden the base" "fair tax")

From what you know, do you consider me to be a typical Republican?
10/12/2016 12:21 PM
Are you running for office?

Pretty sure your question was whether I'd vote for Clinton or a non-Trump Republican.
10/12/2016 12:27 PM
JON HUNTSMAN AND JACK KEMP ARE ONLY REPUGS IN RECENT MEMORY I'D HAVE VOTED FOR.
10/12/2016 12:38 PM
I could see myself voting for Huntsman or pre 2002 (2003?) John McCain.

Wow, this is actually moved forward into a discussion of basic party platforms and crossing the aisle.

I'm astonished.

I was going somewhere that you obviously would rather not go.

I lean conservative. But I don't care about a lot of Republican platforms. Abortion, SSM, legalizing pot, banning porn, etc, etc. So, if a Dem came along who was more fiscally conservative than the typical Dem, I could see casting a vote for them.

You, on the other hand, are a tried and true liberal. There is virtually nothing that could convince you to cross over at the voting booth.

And you're supposed to be the open-minded one per your party affiliation
