I thought that, on par, he'd be offset by the teammate options that he offered. In any case, I figured it's better than the $10.3M / 447 IP that someone is going to suffer when they get stuck with the 1894 B Kennedy (albeit they will have good teammate options). And I don't see most of LaPorte's seasons being much more unplayable than A Griffin. I also thought it was to my advantage relative to my opponents. But I sincerely apologize if I don't know what I'm doing and the $2-3M in cap space costs our twelve teams teams 2-4 wins each.
