Clearly a large misunderstanding here... I can't tell what it is though.

If you are changing jobs, you do that before the 2nd session, and you recruit in the 2nd session for your new team.

If you are a new coach in the world, you start with a full roster, after 2nd session. Then you begin scouting for next season.

I think that's probably where the misunderstanding is. It's possible phalla understands it and just hates it, but that's how it works now. I think it will be much better for new users. Perhaps a slight hindrance to existing users who are thinking about adding a world, if they intended to jump in and rebuild right away.

It is very simple. WIS decided that new users were being disadvantaged by having to actually play the game. So, they took away the ability of new users to recruit their own players. I am sure there is some view that this will only affect new users at D3. Everyone that is rejoining a World, after having taken time off, will be able to choose their position of choice and play the players that are there for a season.

Users already within the world can apply prior to period #2 and have the opportunity to rescind a few scholarships, if they dare, and try to get a couple recruits signed for that first season. Users with prior history in a world may still be able to sign in during the job application period. I have not checked that.

It is helpful to note that CoachSpud's post-to-win ratio is now at greater than 3-to-1 (464-144...even ignoring the bevy of nonsense in the Beta). His continued trolling may be safely disregarded. That ratio demonstrates that his interest is in the forum, not the game.

New coaches get a full roster as is and a fresh start to recruit for next season. That makes perfect sense.

Everything you are concerned about is all in the World Schedule, look at the top to see that you have already scheduled games for this season. You are currently in the 2nd recruiting period, which is the last part of the current season. Once the season rolls over, new coach signups will happen and then you can schedule exhibition and non-conference games.

It is NOT in the World schedule.

It makes absolutely NO mention of when you can schedule exhibition and non-conference games.

Tuesday	10/4	12:00 AM	Season starts
		3:00 AM	New coach signups start
Wednesday	10/5	4:00 PM	New coach signups end
		6:00 PM	Exhibition game scheduling starts
		6:00 PM	Non-conference game scheduling starts
		6:00 PM	Recruit scouting starts
Thursday	10/6	2:00 PM	Exhibition games start
Friday	10/7	1:00 PM	Exhibition game scheduling ends
		2:00 PM	Exhibition games end
		11:59 PM	Player position change deadline

Because you were still i LAST season then.

Sure, of course, one season works just like the previous season, but the OP has a good point. What if WIS changes something and doesn't announce it? Ya aren't paranoid if they might really be coming to get you.

the narrow window to schedule exhibitions is annoying. 6pm tonight until midday tomorrow. In 2.0 one had a lot more time to get this done. Dont know why it could not be done any time during say 2nd recruiting cycle.....
