I hope nobody minds me starting off this thread. It'll be awhile before I pick again.

Who would you have picked at 6 and 7? I like jt7king's twin tower approach but it leaves him well below my $/min pain threshold.

Personally, I'd have gone with 00-01 Shaq and 14-15 CP3. They're both perfect for this salary cap.

I'm not being critical of the picks, just fun to get the conversation going.

Thoughts?

I had one of two plans depending on what cj did ahead of me. Plan A was Shaq and Howard, just because I think it's awesome. If he had taken one of them I would've gone CP3 and MJ.

I don't worry too much about money when I get two firsts. There are plenty of partial season players in the 6th I can piece together a line up with.
With that said, I may be interested in trading my 4th and two of my 6ths for 5th and 6ths closer to the turn.

could not be more stoked about Kareem and Deron. The perfect pairing for KAJ. Thanks, guys.

I think I tried using the value theory a few times in the past. My "success" with that might have been why I stopped doing the League.

For the first time in a while, there are a lot of teams I like. benhoidal's is kind of scary, save for actual minutes. dh and eleibowitz have some scary joints with one flaw each. maybe they won't matter. beachhouse's squad is scary with the right next picks. 98's is still super viable. scud, jcred, milest, copernicus....honestly seems like everyone has a viable squad. I thought I had a playoff team, but I'm not as sure now. Excellent drafting all around

The Deron Williams/Kyle Lowry is so good. I predict that Lowry will start going earlier in future drafts.

I wanted to take Nance so bad but decided that Serge and his 750ish less min (and 3 mill cheaper price tag) was a better value for this team.

Hopefully sticking to the plan works out.
