don't get too down on jakaye drafting team killer harden. this is one of the few squads I've seen that harbors a home to harden (like the alliteration there, haha). anyway, this season we will witness a harden rebirth. Jordan, green and parish all contribute solid supporting roles for harden to excel or crap out because parish and green have the ability to carry a squad for a while, even though green's low 18% usage gets in the way. my favorite parish season is his 73 def one. 25usg% and a very clean game with 54% fg. harden is still the unknown quantity here, but I am leaning on the side of not caution, but expectation. now there is some flexibility going forward for a pg who plays clean and dimes just enough to make this team overcome harden's inability at times. another dangerous team, like oxycotton.

Appreciate the Eval. I like the 73 Def season but I am going for the 91 Def, 27% usg version. I think I need the usage, and even though he fouls a ton, why not go all in on the defensive squad.

i think I'm set on Harden being the PG. He is pretty Wade-y just lower D (but 79 pretty good). The advantage with him at pg is rebounding which I would give up by slotting an ast man next to him. Also would sacrifice the edge Draymond gives me as a 24% ast SF.

you have to love Draymond's 21.5 TOV season...

how many contenders do you see, scud?

the question for me, bds, are the teams who will not qualify for the dance. I honestly see 20 viable squads who are strong contenders

Yeah, he's an enigma. Such a new season so not sure his value has been fully sussed out yet.
His best comp is probably D Marshall, similar D/Usg/Reb and 3PM from the 3. The difference is the crazy Ast%. But for sure, the TOV% does make the 55%eFg overrated probably

same. seems we've all learned from past mistakes at the exact same time, coordinating a draft in which each piece falls into place seamlessly

The Mop Bucket

I really like this lineup. it is different than the all 70D lineup. durants numbers, though less in mins (2500), however becomes a very sweet player for 7.7 mil. I have found pg's with 53 efg% and 56 efg% who dime well and also have 60+D and, 13-14usg%. they also shoot some 3's. with the 12 man roster I put together, there are 4600 boards and 2400 dimes. Drafting a full time Alex English to cover three positions as back-up made it possible. never had a team before with such compliant numbers. hope it does well.

Well once I drafted Marion, Camby, Kemp, and Payton, I realized I could not maintain a respectable bench at all, while using the seasons I drafted plus drafting another starter. So, I panicked and decided to draft 4 partial seasons so that I could have $9.5 million to fill my bench. Kemp/Boozer give me almost 3700 minutes at 9 million and Smith/Redd give me 2800 minutes for right at 6 million. If I did one thing right this draft, it was tricking scud into thinking I had a plan when I traded down. I am low on overall assists and I will need to find another scoring SG to come off bench, but I should have enough money to fill the roster I am wanting.

another sick, deceptive, well-funded eleibowitz squad. I was not a fan of the bird-Oscar pairing, but now they have room to operate and terrorize while getting ample support from behind. damn glad that 71 def season of emeka's is such a whuss on minutes played, otherwis3 his 19% usage and great efficiency would rate him a 2nd rounder. but the dude cannot hit free throws. happy about that. kirilenko has been a staple in eleib's wheelhouse teams for some time. he's got him again, which makes bird the sg and Oscar at the controls. the best positon to be shopping for in the 5th is a PF (imo). the cast is larger than the pg or sf. need another 25% dreb guy

lol. tricked me, eh? wo yao ba ni da ru leng gong (I will put you into the dungeon with the other wives).however, Bk, despite the asts shortage, which isn't so bad, just a little bad, this is a very unique squad with so many guys able to do so many different kinds of things. I really like the frontcourt construction. camby, boozer and kemp. ex,cellent board%'s and just as good efg%. just enough defense there to make them dangerous, like swimming with a school of squid. payton and shawn marion make this team legitimate contenders while the 2 snipers keep defenses honest. good inside out game. decent defense. Achilles heel might be the lack of dimes, but you can shore that up with the bench I think. probably will need 2100 dimes to keep the likes of the frontcourt happy. That payton season you chose is excellent. lots of dimes, lots of threes. I think I would have missed that season if you had not shown me the wisdom of it. I usually just skip over pg's with 45% fg, but the other tools the glove brings is worth the slight fg% downgrade. team name: Captain Courageous and the Giant Squid. Nice drafting.

06-07 odom is a nice addition, eleib... just enough of everything (20% usg, 50+ 3's, some asts throw in and more cap room). a good support choice for the others on this team. but maybe have a look at the season in which he has a higher usg and 60+ def. might work with the things in place now.

8. thomcat - Moses Malone, Elton Brand, Bobby Jones, Eddie Jones, Nate McMillan,

this is a very nice 5 man team, but what I especially like is the usage %'s and the defense. hard to find 5 guys that fit so well together that plays defense while maintaining the integrity of system. feels like digital silk. the jones brothers seem to be the necessary glue to this squad while nate is journeyman-like and efficient at controlling the ball. 3 very complimentary role players to support the soft hands of the big men. very quiet, deceptive and lethal team here. gonna surprise everyone when you make the playoffs. this is the kind of team that does not scream out on paper, yet wins 3 of every 4 games. much will depend on the bench because you're gonna need a good one to continue with this continuity. but you have lots of cash left I think. nice vision. Team name: Oxycotton Killers

11. milest - Chris Paul, Bob McAdoo, Clyde Drexler, Larry Sanders, Kris Humphries,

miles is building a pipe shop here because he's gonna smoke his division. this is really a unique cast of characters captained by chris paul and Drexler. McAdoo, back in his day was the first NBA player to smoke pot. haha. so, he cannot be captain, but he certainly will light it up on the scoreboard having the dishmen, paul and clyde handing him the ball and sanders and humphres scrounging for the ball. 3 scorers. 3 boardmen. some 3's added into the mix. not much of a paint game going, so defenses, i think should set their controls to +1 or +2 perimeter, but that shouldn't stop this express too much. there's just enough defense to hold teams to 49-50% shooting, so, you'll compete in every game. 9 mil for both Humphries and sanders. nice. gl going forward.
