Curse you copernicus: Horford was supposed to be the perfect compliment to Millsap.

17. jcred5 - John Stockton, Kawhi Leonard, Tyson Chandler, Chris Webber,

webber was such a prolific 4th round pick. wanted him on my squad badly. just missed him. his 80def, 60+ threes and 4+ dimes a game make him the go-to guy on this team. he boards well enough for a PF and has a good efg%. nicely done jcred. now, kawhi has the green light to prove his worth for a no. 2 pick. Stockton has 2 guys to pass the ball too. in need of another scorer and a boarding SF that plays defense too. if these 2 missing parts appear in the 5th and 6th rounds, drop your *****, grab your socks and run. I wasn't a fan of this team before but webber changes things now. still, chandler cannot be relied upon to haul down big boards every game. he is just not that consistent, but he is an excellent center. the table is set, just missing the potatoes and gravy. Team name: Kawhi Tropical Fruit Punch
Gotta say, these are the best write ups ever! And you gave me a team name! Will be curious to see what you think of Sabonis, I zigged and went for one of the best 6th men in the 5th round instead of grabbing a SF, that will hopefully be there early in the 6th.

And your view from the office window - I laughed, I cried.... amazing!
10/13/2016 3:55 PM
thanks, jcred

i'll continue with evals once teams finish their 6th round picks. bkbillups is the only one done drafting (that was fast!). and yeah, jcred, sabonis was exactly who you needed. nice. big sigh of relief from chandler.

24. banditone - A. Hardaway, A. Mourning, Jerry Lucas, C. Hawkins, Wesley Person, Jerry West, Chris Gatling

wow, bandit hits a homerun in the 5th and 6th rounds. unusual for him so late in the draft. this is where he usually makes a left hand turn and exits the scene. not this time! he finds his sniper, 84 def, lots of 3's and teams him up with the logo. jerry west going so late is a little surprising. and then the great back up to Alonzo, GATLING! 30+ usg%, 1300 mins, excellent efg% and boardman. nice addition there, bandit. this is a very, very well constructed team. it has its sweet spots and has its durability. I like the fact the squad can flat out dime and board together, not to mention man-up and defend. I really mean it, bandit, this is the best team I have seen you build. each piece to the puzzle fell into place, one step at a time. this squad should get you into the playoffs, but there are so many who qualify this season. but there is just too much here to ignore. I hope you go with that 85D Hawkins season. playoff prediction: my gut tells me: YES

23. jhsukow - Scottie Pippen, Julius Erving, Tom Boerwinkle, Serge Ibaka, Gerald Wallace, Charles Oakley

I only six picks here, but you completed the 6th round. maybe you have someone else's 6th too. well, I will proceed anyway since what you have now just shocked the crap out of me. Wallace in the 6th? good god, not to mention landing Oakley. I know you want to use his 90D season, but take a good look at his 6.9m season, the one with the 28%dreb and 3 dimes a game. this 6 man unit is the great experiment. serge and ibaka are teamed well, as is pippen and erving. Wallace lends support in many areas. curious to see who you land as your pg. need a touch of scoring there without having to worry about dimes. I love this team so much but am now gun-shy to commit to the dance for you just because I know so many teams can qualify. I think there will just be a game or two that separates winners from losers in this league. 1 game can make all the difference. but this unit is so well-oiled. I will commit to a decision even not knowing who your pg will be. you know what u'r doing. playoff prediction: YES!

Yup, I'm using the rebounding Oakley.

Still missing a starter.
yeah, I see that, and you pick just before I do, and were both looking for the same thing.

11. milest - Chris Paul, Bob McAdoo, Clyde Drexler, Larry Sanders, Kris Humphries,

miles is building a pipe shop here because he's gonna smoke his division. this is really a unique cast of characters captained by chris paul and Drexler. McAdoo, back in his day was the first NBA player to smoke pot. haha. so, he cannot be captain, but he certainly will light it up on the scoreboard having the dishmen, paul and clyde handing him the ball and sanders and humphres scrounging for the ball. 3 scorers. 3 boardmen. some 3's added into the mix. not much of a paint game going, so defenses, i think should set their controls to +1 or +2 perimeter, but that shouldn't stop this express too much. there's just enough defense to hold teams to 49-50% shooting, so, you'll compete in every game. 9 mil for both Humphries and sanders. nice. gl going forward. Team name: 3 Guns and a Box of Ammo
I might have screwed up my team by drafting Nick Anderson, but I think it was the best move. The plan is use Drexler's 16 minute season to back up Anderson. It saves me some salary that I will use to prevent my bench from being anemic. The 2 players are fairly similar other than the usage. Anderson is at 19% usage, which is fine since I drafted McAdoo & CP3 and my 2 gabage men both have decent usage as well... My efg% at the 2 will be 56-57% for 48 minutes, even if 32 of them are only 19% usage- that's still pretty impressive along side CP3 & Doo. The move might be dumb, but we will never really know.

i'll hold off on doing your eval for now because so muc is now riding on your last pick. I think if you supplant Anderson for Drexler as your starter and demote clyde to the 16 min version, you're gonna take a big hit on asts, and with this league now full of big alligators in a small pond, a full version of Drexler (78def, 114 - 3's made, good dimes) will be needed. I like Anderson, but not with what you had in place already. but now you have him. don't know what to make of this situation yet. will wait for your 2nd 6th rounder. gl

The hit on assists is 2.2% with Anderson in the lineup vs the 33 min 94-95 Drexler. The SFs I will use will make up that difference compared to the SFs I'd use if I used the full season Drexler. I can't really afford a good backup to the full season Drexler or be able to fill the rest of my roster with quality players and have enough minutes. Using Drexler's 16 min season will allow me to do that. My team efg is better with Anderson and the 16 min Cylde. And the rest of the hits are fairly minor in all reality. The lower usage means I'll get less scoring from the SG position - but CP3 and Doo will shoot more as a result & I'm fine with that.

22. copernircus - Jason Kidd, Bill Russell, Patrick Ewing, Ray Allen, Al Horford, Blake Griffin, Cory Alexander

everything i wrote about this team before still stands, including the very good additions of blake and cory. i really like that alexander season and is a nice back-up for kidd, with similiar %'s. i'm sure you're gonna use that 1170 min griffin season with the 29 usg% and decent 50 efg%. he is a nice back-up for ewing since he can't oreb either nor dime. haha. but that's not what ewing and blake were drafted for. with kidd and allen lighting it up from the outside, and ewing and company from the inside, you will force defenses to cover both zones which always helps an offense to open things up a bit more. the key to this team will be horford's offensive production, how much and how often because in many games, he's gonna need to show up. once he evaporates, which he has the tendency to do at times, allen and ewing will not be enough, not even with a 1170 min griffin. there are so many well built teams in their league this season, i am not sure about the success of this squad. :playoff prediction: No
