It'd be super hard to effectively put in proxies for the middle picks.

JFranco77 and I have made a trade.

He receives my 11th Round Pick and 14th Round Pick.

I receive his 12th Round Pick and 13th Round Pick.

By the way, I do not think the odds apply here because so much is dictated by the first round. I maintain that having a pick at the end of the first round puts one in a huge hole.

Well, you had a choice of either higher quality or more innings + higher salary. Someone like Chesbro is worse than someone like Alexander, sure, but would provide you with the same salary flexibility for Round 2 AND a much sooner choice than Alexander's owner had. Any frustration should be directed not at the integrity of the format but rather at strategy being 20/20 in hindsight.

I'm back...

After the season runs it's course, I can do a comparison of W-L records by draft slot.

If only we could do it all over, I guess it's my fault for not asking but I would have traded to be at the end in a heartbeat, from my experience the winner of draft leagues is NEVER the guy with the first pick, I'd say late teens early 20's is where I'd prefer. The biggest perk with drafting at the ends is quick back to back picks then you get to forget about it for 2 days!! I feel for you mid round guys, not fun!!
