Yes, if we suspend reality and pretend that DT results that were supposed to remain secret didn't remain secret.

Watching Yanks-Sux. Costas, I guess, said "Papi is a sure-fire HOFer."

Why is he getting a PED pass?
Why is Jeter?
That's not really answering the question but I don't recall Jeter being on a failed drug test list. Do you?
Jeter and Ortiz failed the same amount of drug tests.
That's as true (and relevant) as saying that Adolph Hitler was never convicted of any war crimes.

The big problem with Ortiz's Hall of Fame case isn't the suspicion of PEDs, it's the fact that he wasn't good enough to be a Hall of Famer.

But, the fact that he got to 541 HR after hitting less than 60 before his age 27 season is ******* amazing.

It's not suspicion. It's really simple to find something about him failing a PED test. Took about 8 seconds to find this:

For whatever reason, David Ortiz hates it when you bring up that he tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs in 2003 (a fact confirmed by the union). The latest target of his ire: MLB Network hosts who declared he has received a "free pass" for his transgression.

He's no Edgar Martinez, that's for sure.

And Edgar Martinez is not a Hall of Famer. That's also for sure.

Agree with your first point, disagree with your second.

I guess I just don't care either way. It's documented that many, many players, over decades, used PEDs, including current Hall of Famers. The fact that Ortiz's name showed up on that leaked list is someone irrelevant.

You're the dumbass who said "Jeter and Ortiz failed the same amount of drug tests", right?.

Ortiz damn sure couldn't take a pitch like Edgar.

Officially, neither failed an MLB drug test.
4/28/2017 12:31 PM
what does that even mean? Ortiz failed a drug test. There's no officially or unofficially about it.

This is why you're a clown. We know, for a fact, that Ortiz tested positive for PED in 2003.

We do not know if Jeter ever tested positive. At this point, there is no reliable evidence that he did.

So, officially, Jeter and Ortiz did not fail the same amount of drug tests.

We know that Ortiz's name was on a leaked list of flagged samples in 2003. Then he never failed an official drug test for 13 years after that. To me, it's a non-issue.

No one gives a **** what it is to you. Ortiz failed a PED test in 2003. It's a simple fact. Jeter's name has never been on a failed PED test list. Another simple fact.
