Trump has proven he doesn't worry about telling people what they want to hear. He's also proven he says what is on his mind. I respect and value that infinitely more than Clinton's lies. Also, FWIW, I've had the same saint of a wife since fairly young and plan on keeping it that way.
Again, I can respect a difference of opinion as to which one is worse, as long as it's based on your feelings about these specific candidates, and not the "Party Line" bull sh!t b_l follows. I'm curious as to which it is for you two.
so you respect that he says what is on his mind, even if what is on his mind is racist, sexist, self serving crap?
In a word, YES! I'd rather know the faults of my "leader" and be able to prepare as I see fit for what I think their actions may be than have no freakin' clue what they are going to do, but know it certainly isn't what they're telling me.
The fact that even b_l keeps dodging the question and can't come up with one single thing that makes Clinton better (other than she's not Trump) says more than I ever could about her. Think about it - the biggest Clinton supporter on this site can't post one single thing she has done that makes her a better candidate than Trump. He's pretty much admitting she's garbage too, just garbage he'd prefer.
I will never (health willing) not vote. I take that as my duty as an American. There are billions of people in the World who would love such an opportunity, yet millions of Americans take it for granted or ignore it. As bad as the choices are, Trump or Clinton is going to be our next President, and since I shudder at the thought of what Clinton will do to this Country, why would I vote for anyone other than the person who has the best chance to defeat her? You think 50+ % of those people being polled want actually want Clinton as their President, or are the voting against the best chance to defeat Trump?
The depth of stupidity of this post is monumental.
"I'd rather know the faults of my "leader" and be able to prepare as I see fit for what I think their actions may be than have no freakin' clue what they are going to do, but know it certainly isn't what they're telling me."
So for instance, you'd be comfortable if one candidate said that he would probably nuke the Middle East to get rid of all those damn pesky terrorist towel heads, because he's coming right out and saying it as opposed to somebody else who might prefer a more measured approach? If so, then GOOD JOB, SPARKY!
Also, making a conscious decision to not vote is every bit a part of your rights and duty as an American. Your right to vote is the FREEDOM to use your vote as you see fit. Deliberately choosing to not vote for either of the "two worst candidates in history", or whatever you called them, is far different from not voting because (a) you're not allowed to vote, or (b) you just don't give a ****, i.e. apathy.
And finally, your decision to vote for Trump is purely a vote against Clinton, and not a vote because you think Trump is a qualified and worthy candidate. You've said so yourself. Which makes you part of the problem in this country, because that's a completely irresponsible way to exercise your vote.
You say that you "shudder at the thought of what Clinton will do to this country", yet have you even spent a nano-second of rational thought about what Trump would do to this country? Probably not, because it seems unlikely that you're even capable of rational thought.
