If a guy has "Elbow, surgery" listed under injury...is there any way to tell how long he's out for before signing him? I'd hate to sign him and he's out most of the year.

His player card should tell you how long he's out.

Never seen this before. It's a weird set of transactions, and I wonder if that uncovered a small bug.

The weirdness... he was placed on the DL on the first day transactions are allowed-- and then released off the DL because he was arb-eligible. You're not supposed to be allowed to be released off the DL, but obviously you can if you don't have a salary.

I'd send a ticket.
