Can anyone explain why I got a 70 to 30 ratio rushing to passing when I had the setting at 60 to 40 passing to rushing?

Guess no one knows the answer! Must be WIS Halloween Trick! LOL

Why is it that sometimes when you flip a coin 10 times, you don't always get 5 heads and 5 tails?

Sacks and kneeldowns?

Bingo.

That would be a lot of sacks and kneel downs to make the ratio that far off! That wasn't the case! The flipping the coin theory might be acceptable if the ratio was not set on 60 to 40 passing to rushing. Probably the "BOO" theory (LOL)was the best explanation!!!

Those ratios are not guaranteed within a single game. Not enough repetitions to make it work out. Also, that 60/40...was that the setting for every play you are considering?

Yes the 60 to 40 pass to rush ratio is what I set for the game with my first 2 formations and the 3rd formation was set at 50/50!

I see you are in Div III. I found that the percentages are wonky because of the "flip a quarter" example given above. I have found that I exercise better control by making certain formations 100% run or 100% pass and then set them accordingly. For me (opinions may vary), this gives me more control during the situation (play/down/distance). I simply cannot recall whether you can do that in III or not.

I like the idea of using the ex-stream setting and then adjust at half time. On the down menu we can only set the play calling style, rushing aggression and the passing aggression for the four downs or we can use the global setting for all downs! Thanks for your input!

I thought offense was not spelled offence like the title of the post.
